Part-time positions available for qualified outdoor educators:

Job description:

ECE/ECEa (or almost finished student) would be a bonus but not required.

Location is in South Surrey.

Hours are somewhat flexible.

With room to grow into future full-time position.

Weekday hours are 2pm to 530pm (paid for 4 hours) plus full days during Spring Break, Pro Ds and Summer.

Age group is K to Gr. 3.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract and be willing to obtain Class 4 unrestricted.

Must be confident and self-directed; able to manage a group of up to 10 independently or, more than 10 with a secondary support person.

Enthusiastic about being outdoors and being around animals.

Creative and able to come up with age appropriate art projects and nature themed activities.

Good communication skills and able to confidentiality manage app-based program software.

Job type: Part-time; 20 – 40 per week

Renumeration: $23 - $26.00 per hour (per experience)

Experience: Teaching or child minding: 1 year (preferred)
