Multiple part to full-time positions available for qualified outdoor educators:

Job description:

Perfect for an ECE*/ECEa(or almost finished student) , EA/Support Worker, or, Persons with child-minding/camps experience/Responsible Adult Certified

Location is in and around South Surrey

Hours are somewhat flexible

With room to grow

Weekday hours from 9am-1:30pm and/or 2pm to 530pm, plus, full days during Spring Break, Pro Ds and Summer

Age groups are 3-5 and 5 to 12 years

Requirements:

Must have a minimum Class 5 driver's license and clean driving abstract. Class 4 Unrestricted or willing to obtain results in a pay increase

Must be confident and self-directed; able to manage a group of up to 10 independently or, more than 10 with a secondary support person

Enthusiastic about nature, being outdoors, and being around animals

Creative and able to facilitate age appropriate art projects and nature themed activities

Great communication skills, calm under pressure, and, able to confidentiality manage app-based program software

Job type: Part-time; 20 – 40 per week

Renumeration: $23 - $26.00+ per hour (per experience) *Government ECE wage enhancement not available yet
